Images which have been saved as JPEGs will be copied to the “images” folder but will not be recompressed by ProView.
Do Not Copy Images
No images will be copied to the “images” folder, converted or compressed, and they will not be renamed. (See “Files and Naming.”)
When posting your website make sure the images are in their original folder and that this folder is in the website folder with your HTML pages.
NOTE: The path recorded to the HTML page will contain a reference to the folder where the original images resides.
Do Not Copy Movies
No movies will be copied to the “movies” folder or flattened, and they will not be renamed. (See “Files and Naming.”)
When posting your website make sure the movies are in their original folder and that this folder is in the website folder with your HTML pages.
NOTE: The path recorded to the HTML page will contain a reference to the folder where the original movie resides. Movies must be flattened for playback on all computers. (ProView will do this for you if this option is NOT checked.)
Use file extension .html for pages
ProView adds the .htm extension to all HTML pages it creates. Some providers require pages to use .html extension. Checking this option will ensure that your pages will conform with this requirement.
NOTE: You can not change this option when updating a website. Build new website instead.
Choose HTML Browser
This feature allows you to select the browser or text editor that will open your HTML pages when double-clicked on from the desktop.
When clicked, you will be presented with an “Open File” dialog box. Find the desired browser or text editor and click “open”.
NOTE: Changing this option will only affect new pages. Previously created pages will retain the old setting. Choose build new website to assign a single browser or text editor to all pages in the project.
